How is a VerityRadar report structured?
A report opens with a cover that gives the verdict, then numbered sections that each stand on their own: who was screened, why the rating is what it is, what was found, what was clear, and how the work was done. Findings point to the numbered sources behind them, and a finding with no source that names the subject says so.
Every report type uses the same structure, for every kind of subject. Subject identification, Findings and Scope and methodology always appear; the other sections appear when they have something to show.
Cover
The subject's name and type, its country and identifier (a company number, an ABN or a ship's IMO number), and the risk rating with its score and the areas that drive it. A manual review banner appears when a person should confirm the result before it is relied on. Four figures sum up the report: Adverse findings, Possible matches, Checks clear and Sources cited.
Subject identification
What you asked for, and how the subject was matched: the register record the report is about, how closely its name matches the name you entered, and any other records that were considered and not used. For a ship, whether the IMO number confirmed the hull.
Summary
The assessment in a few sentences, and how the rating was reached: each risk-bearing finding, the points it contributes and why, with the score bands.
Findings
Each adverse finding and possible match, with its severity, a plain-English description and the numbered sources behind it.
Checks needing manual review
Checks that could not be completed automatically, such as a screen that did not answer. They are never counted as clear; confirm them by hand before relying on the report.
Checks with no adverse records
Every check that ran and found nothing adverse, so you can show what was checked as well as what was found.
Subject profile
The facts about the subject: register details, addresses, operating profile, key people and the ownership structure. For a ship, its identity card: IMO number, MMSI, call sign, flag, type and former names.
Sources
Every source the report relies on, numbered in the order it is first cited, with a link to the record, list entry, filing or article.
Scope and methodology
The report type, how many checks ran and how many people were screened, the checks not included in this report type, how the subject was researched and rated, and the report reference. When a signed evidence package was sealed for the report, this section says how to verify it.
